James E. Hallman

James E. Hallman was born in Cleburne, Texas in 1948.

He attended the University of Texas majoring in accounting and graduated from Baylor Law School receiving his Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree in 1972.

James E. Hallman ("Jim") was licensed by the State Bar of Texas as an attorney and counselor at law in 1973.

Mr. Hallman is a member of the Johnson County Bar Association (Secretary, 1985; President, 1977), the State Bar of Texas, and the Texas Association of Bank Counsel.

Mr. Hallman has served on the District 7/B Grievance Committee and has been named as a Life Fellow by the Texas Bar Foundation.

Mr. Hallman was a Vice President and Trust Officer for Cleburne National Bank from 1973 to 1975 prior to his entering intolaw practice in the firm of Hallman & Allen. In January of 1986,

James E. Hallman, together with Charles Lummus, Curtis Pritchard,and Burton Baker, formed the current law firm of Lummus, Hallman, Pritchard & Baker.

Mr. Hallman has been Board Certified in Residential Real Estate Law and in Commercial Real Estate Law since 1989.

Mr. Hallman's practice areas include real estate, estate planning, including wills and revocable trusts, and irrevocable life insurance trusts, and corporate and business law and oil and gas law.

Jim is married to Kathy B. Hallman and has three children, Kathryn, James, and Laura Beth.
